...this bracelet. Which I'm very pleased with! Very simple and created with the lovely disc bead which Genea sent me the other day along with my super cool headpins, and a jumble of beads from the bottom of my travelling bead bag...but it works I think. Knotted pieces have such a wonderful feel and drape to them. I'm also messing around with new ways of taking pictures and set ups for my jewellery. Quite liking the book....it might be a little 'busy' for some pieces though...any thoughts? Photography is NOT my forte but I keep on chipping away at it. I don't think I'll ever be one of those people who carries a camera everywhere though.

Hello aqua & brown! I tell you, it's a color combo that can't be beat. Oh, I just had a good idea for your conundrum about a book being too busy for some pieces: a braille book! And while that was largely meant as a joke, it would probably look most cool if you can get your hands on one -- it's all about texture.
Love it and your picture is so pretty too! I need to get better so this week I am trying new things.
um Heidi is right, aqua and brown are so yummy!
Photos are tricky. I am experimenting with props but I still want to keep it really simple. Neutral backgrounds and props don't have to be boring. I picked up some fun designed paper and have collected some sweet twigs and stones from my yard... I'm gonna give that a whirl. If you want to keep the book you could always put a semi-transparent piece of paper, like vellum in between the book and your jewelry. That might help take away the "busy" look... I think the photo above is good though, not to busy for me.
Your photo is excellent as well as this awesome bracelet! I love it...I bet it is as comfortable as it is fun!
I love this!!! It´s so beautiful, fresh and sunny
Oh Rebecca, I LOVE this! It reminds me on scuba diving in the carribean sea - not that I ever did that ;)
Yep, aqua and brown always works. I would wear this sunny bracelet all summer long.
Una combinaciòn de materiales, espectacular.....
Gorgeous, makes me think of summer holidays. I like the book page background, I agree that this needs a colourful piece like your bracelet as the focus.
