Old Beads and Beyond

So, Malin told me I should blog every time I am published....which I don't currently do....I have a stack of mags, each one with my designs beautifully photographed and presented by the Beads and Beyond team. I think this is the main reason I don't blog each time I have something in their magazine - they do it so well, my photographs pale in comparison! But I thought I'd share one of my favourite pieces from last year, my Winter's Eve necklace. Loads of silver as you can see, so this one is a keeper! Lampwork from Josephine Wadman and crystal quartz nuggets from PreciousSparkleBeads. The large turquoise flower, I bought at a bead fair from Bead Spider. Never been able to find another one since.

This is one of my favourite pieces that I have had published. I hope you like it too!

Rebecca and Heidi! You make me blush and say "Stop it!". At the same time I am immensely proud and sit here with the biggest grin on my face. :-)

Anyway, so I'll just continue on my previous path then. Here's another advice. Would you be allowed to take a photo of the magazine with the great photographs? And publish THAT on your blog. I wanna see both the covers and the articles ... and I think everyone else want to aswell.

I actually did just that myself yesterday after having received the July issue of Beads & Beyond. Again Rebecca, I was immensely proud!!!!! I just haven't blogged about it yet. I am having some crazy days lately with too many different things going on. I kind of find it difficult to manage to keep track of anything I have started. Feeling just generally lost.

Today I gave driving lessons to Conrad my 9 year old son! What!!! Is she crazy? She clearly is completely lost! You can't teach a nine-year old how to drive. Well, you can, if it's on a 3 wheeled electric scooter, Permobiles the are sometimes called. At least I hope I can, coz I just did, didn't I. He was soooooo good. And I am very proud of him.

Oh, DO blog about it! We want to share in your celebration! There is nothing quite like opening a magazine and seeing your name and your piece in all its glory. So share away! I love the lovely tones and the way you put this all together. A favorite for sure!
Enjoy the day!
