Welcome to the 8th Bead Soup Blog Party, hosted by Lori Anderson! I know you will potentially have quite a few blogs that you are trying to get round today, so without further ado, here's what I did....
The soup I received from my lovely partner Kayla...
What I forgot to mention in yesterday's post, was that she also sent me a few extra goodies - some yummy chocolate, and also some turquoise nail varnish. Guess what colour my toes are at the moment.....
Here's the jewellery I created....
A sweet bracelet containing the barrel focal that Kayla sent me, amongst others. I somehow ended up using pretty much only beads that were in my bead soup, adding in findings and one of my new beaded beads. I do like the added splash of aubergine in this colour palette.
And some very simple - classic, in fact - earrings. Again, I just added headpins and earwires to the soup.
I still have quite a bit of soup left over (including the other focal, the large carved bird piece - you really stumped me there, Kayla! But only for now....;-) ) so I will be able to enjoy more creativity from my goodies in good time. Thank you so much Kayla for being such a great partner!
I can't wait to see what Kayla made with the soup I sent her....here's the pic....
and here's the link to hop over and see what she made.
Here is the link to the full list of participants, so that you can hop around.
Thank you SO much to Lori for organising this wonderful event for us. I'm so grateful for all that she does, even when her chips are down. Thank you!

I love the bracelet Rebecca, especially that beaded bead. Beautiful classic earrings. Well done x
Love the earrings - classic is always good :-). And that is one pretty bracelet. The beaded bead definitely adds an 'oomph' to it. Can't wait to see what else you make with the rest of your soup.
Lovely bracelet, Rebecca! And amazing soup you've sent to your partner - I've to take a look, what she made with!
Gorgeous bracelet! Such a lovely combo of colours and materials. And the earrings are so sweet. Lori has made a similar pair with my soup and now I'm fancying making some for me!

Lovely bracelet and earrings! Your bead choices were perfect for that barrel bead. That's the second I've seen in my BSBP tour, and I'm getting very inspired! Thanks.
Wonderful bracelet! I really love your style :-)
Love your bracelet!! Would love to see what you do with that wonderful vintage looking floral rectangular piece!! Love it!
Your beaded beads gives the bracelet an extra bit of pizazz.
Love your bracelet, especially the beaded bead.
I'm SO in love with both your pieces it's ridiculous! Especially that bracelet you whipped up-I've had that metal focal for several years now and I honestly never knew what to do with it.
I think it was just waiting for you to make it into this bracelet :)
I love how you added your handmade bead to the bracelet for a little character, too. It fits in perfectly!
Can't wait to see what you create with the rest of the soup down the road ^.^

That pop of purple in your bracelet is clever (man I wish my vision was good enough to create beaded beads!)!

I couldn't wait to see what you made and was delighted with what you did with your soup! You are so right, that aubergine color in the woven seed bead bead really adds a gorgeous touch.

love the bracelet...it is lovely...good job,,
Great design. Lovely bracelet Rebecca. Rather different from what you do normally I think, so I guess you were wonderfully challenged by the soup you received. I agree on the aubergine color adding the extra umpf.
The bracelet is quite lovely - the pop of purple is perfect. Then again, I have rarely found anything that can't be made even more fabulous with a splash of purple! Can't wait to see what you create with the bird and owl and the rest of the leftover soup, too.
You stinker! I was dying to see what you did with that bird - so much birdy goodness! The bracelet is beautiful!
Beautiful bracelet and earrings!
Classic earrings for sure and I can't help but think of that rich aubergine and green as a classic combination. So glad you figured out the magical gauntlet of beaded beads, it's a lovely addition.Seems to always turn out just right. Lovely work.
Oh wow... that bracelet is amazing! All the layers of contrasting colors and textures, but it works so beautifully!
That bracelet is so pretty, it looks almost vintage. I love the earrings, simple but striking at the same time.
Wow Rebecca - such a lovely bracelet and pretty earrings too.
Sticking mainly to the soup ingredients has been a theme at several of the blogs I've visited already. It seems to be working well! Your bracelet is so nice and that added texture of your beaded bead really does give it a little zing! And, oh. . . .that bead soup you sent is so dreamy! Happy hopping.
Sometimes less is more. These are beautiful earrings. Love them.
Love the bracelet with the beaded bead!
very elegant... congrats
Very nice pieces from your soup. The bracelet is great and I love the simplicity of the earrings. The colors really compliment each other.

Such lovely work well done!
Love the asymmetry.
You cooked up two beautiful designs. The beaded bead in the bracelet looks like a blackberry. Gorgeous.
Lovely bracelet. The Aubergine bead sure does kick it up a notch.
Love your bracelet, Rebecca and those classic earrings are perfect!
Lovely pieces!
The splash of Aubergine is a nice surprise. That cut out barrel bead is Soup-er cool! Made for an awesome bracelet. And the simple earrings are perfect!
I've finally got to your blog post (I've been going backwards through the list)! Great stuff here Rebecca, I envy the turquoise nail polish too - what a great summery colour!
I'm a bracelet gal and I would definitely go for this elegant but edgy design, Rebecca :) Love the punch of colour with your delightful beaded bead!
Beautiful bracelet, and gorgeous earrings, love them both.
You created such a wonderful set ! Those earrings are just darling, and the bracelet is so interesting to look at - so many colors and sizes !
Love that cage bead focal. Too cool. and the Asian ceramic beads too. A really fun bracelet you made with it.
Wow! Such beautiful jewelry. Your bracelet is ingenious; the choice of beads and focal is splendid, dreamy, ethereal and lovely. The teal pearls and metal barrel, among the other beads and pop of purple -- looks stunning! And your earrings are sophisticated and rich -- beautiful and simply elegant. Wonderful reveal! Happy Hopping! ♥ Rita
Love the asymmetry of the bracelet, it's so subtle some might not notice it isn't mirrored on each side of that gorgeous focal bead. very romantic feeling to it.
Well, like a lot of us (-: I like the ♥bracelet very much too. Beautiful, that asymmetric design. Great Summer colours, have fun when wearing it!
Very nice soup pieces! Very elegant earrings.
Lovely...as always.
